With an overwhelming number of competitive applicants, we are proud to finally announce the 10 startups who have been accepted into Atlanta Tech Village’s first ever Pre-Accelerator Program as part of our “It Takes A Village” initiative. Our Pre-Accelerator Program gives beta startups led by women and people of color the opportunity to gain direct access to community, further education, mentorship, office space, and capital.
#ItTakesAVillage means an entire community with different skill sets, backgrounds, and cultures is needed to produce the most productive and innovative companies. This impressive group of entrepreneurs is leading the pack:
- ClosingPage – Karthik Puvvada
- Countalytics – David Hailey and Rob McFadden
- Freeing Returns – Barbara Jones
- LawnTap – Wilkinson Egwu
- LocalCity – Glen Williams
- Mitivate – Aaron Petty
- Momsquad – Jessica Goodwin
- RedBag Gifts – John Thomas
- Soundcollide – Robert Hatcher
- Vendorspace – Ify Ifebi
This program is a pre-accelerator that will help Founders hurdle any obstacles preventing them from getting to the next level by providing space to work with like-minded individuals, advice from seasoned professionals, and educational workshops to strengthen skills.
At the end of this 6-Month Program the top 5 participating Founders will pitch their companies to a distinguished panel of judges consisting of Fortune 500 executives, Venture Capital partners, and Accelerator Program leaders to potentially receive a seed investment, gain new customers, pilot, or spot in a local accelerator program.
Take note – these are startups you want to know.
